eduQua: Quality label for the international adult education community |
Dear Sir or Madam, |
Over twenty years ago, SVEB developed and introduced the quality label eduQua in collaboration with Swiss federal offices. Since then, it has become the best-known and most widely distributed certificate for adult education providers in Switzerland. Today, over 1,000 certified providers rely on this quality seal to maintain and demonstrate the high quality of their educational programmes. |
In an international country comparison, the OECD presented eduQua as an example of best practice in 2021. eduQua has also served as the basis for developing country-specific quality assurance systems in several international education projects carried out by SVEB. An example of this is the implementation of Bellaqua in Belarus, a quality assurance system adapted to the particular situation in Belarus and based on the eduQua model. The eduQua standard is now also available in English. This makes the explanations and principles of eduQua accessible to the international adult education community. SVEB is looking forward to share its experience in establishing quality labels with international partners to help strengthen adult education systems. Marianne Müller SVEB Project Manager |
